The homeless are the way they are by choice. Either that or they are mentally ill. Long ago, you had two choices, get a job, take responsibility for your behavior or don't eat. The ones who have mental illness or are to stupid to get a job or too weird to work were incarcerated in institutions.
Also I am so sick of hearing bleeding heart ignorant people claim that the economy is the problem. No it isn't! The economy is terrific! I see plenty of jobs available in the classified section of the newspaper every morning. The way these people were carrying on you'd think its a great depresion or something. Its not even a recession. These people can't get a job because they are either too lazy, or too stupid. They made themselves this way, they deserve to stay this way if they can't find work.

there will allways be homeless people.would you rather the total capacity of people that father bill,s andother shelters take off the street each and every night,be out on the street! homeless people come from all walks of life.you can just thank god a sittuation hasn,t come by your way to put you out in the street.granted yes,SOME people would rather spend there life on the streets.some people don,t have the family,or freinds to take them in.some like myself did not want to bring my problems to them,they have there own.father bills gave me a place to sleep so i could get up in the morning for work. just think of that.and really, which would you rather.homeless people off the streets at night and getting some help,or just leave the homless out side at night.take a good look at some of the homeless you see on the crane library lawn,and you willl notice that some of the faces dissapear,why,because they got the help they needed from father bills.with the economy the way it is,do you really expect to see less homeless.
