Should incidents of Internet ``sexting'' involving juveniles be prosecuted as crimes?

If we allow the texters to be free, then are we punishing someone for a crime based on the crime or on the age of the perpetrator. If 30 year old Jack views the photos, he is convicted, but what of 14 year old Jeff or Jane? Are they exempted from the law by age? Driving a car involves responsible actions--that is driving safely, not drunk. Teens also need to know that their actions have consequences. In a society where all are supposedly treated equally, we need to reward good behavior and punish bad--regardless of who the person is, their age, or celebrity.

Here we go again in the Nanny State. When are we going to start lynching these teenage criminals????? The PC police and the courts need more work.
Let childish acts be dealt with by parents not the court systems. Parents need to be responsible for their children not the Nanny State.
